A Silver heart stamped with kisses and garnets woven into the detail.......

Valentines Exhibition

This February I was delighted to be invited by The Ferrers Gallery in Staunton Harold to take part in their Very Valentines jewellery showcase!
It inspired me to create a range of one off items and some new work which I think may be included in my catalogue.

Heres a sneaky peek at some of the work included......

Invitation Only....

Thats the idea for our exhibitions during 2010, and as we have nearly 3000 loyal customers already on our list its probably a good idea!
This year we are encouraging all of our new customers to send their email address to us to ensure they dont miss out on the opportunity of joining us for our annual show, and the chance to meet the artists.
Its a great way to share a glass of quality wine with us and view the very latest work from our headline artists, and see what goodies are on offer.
Anyone interested in our private view can email the gallery at  lorraine.saskia@hotmail.co.uk
Existing customers can also send their email address as it can be more reliable than a posted invite!

New year plans!

As the New Year begins my mind is already on the forthcoming events of the gallery and how we are going to create another successful year for our loyal customers.
This year we plan to find a few new artists to whet the creative appetite and also have one of our legendary exhibitions in May.
The line up is yet to be decided but we are hoping to secure new work by Nottingham Artist Nick Hedderley, Scottish sculptor Walter Awlson and some original artworks by Gillian Lee Smith.
Our very own Angelo Murphy may also have some new peices for the event, so fingers crossed it should be awesome!

Well today was very interesting, I met the Actor David Prowse, who is famous for playing Darth Vader and the green cross code man.

What a lovely man, not Starry in the least and he was happy to pose for Photos for the crowd.

He was at the opening of a new business opening next to our arts and crafts gallery " Focus Gallery", called The Moster Store, which sells film memorabillia.

Heres a few photos !
